I am a career coach and leadership development consultant with over 10 years of experience working with students and clients to identify their values and achieve goals that result in meaningful careers, wholehearted leadership, and intentionally designed lives. When I began my career I was focused on the “right” way to approach career management: how to write an effective resume, how to provide the best interview answers, how to be “successful.” Over time, I realized that while all those things are important, real happiness in our work and lives goes beyond a “successful” career. Happiness comes from noticing our thoughts, developing our self-knowledge, bravely aligning our decisions and behaviors with our true selves and priorities, honest reflection, and approaching life with gratitude. It also comes from humor, dogs, copious amounts of coffee, and a healthy dose of sarcasm. And that’s what you’ll find here. My work provides actionable, tangible ways to incorporate more happiness, meaning, productivity, and simplicity into our every day lives without taking ourselves too seriously. This site also chronicles my own experiments in living purposefully and wholeheartedly and provides a space for others to share their own experiences.
